This beautiful cabin is located on Island Rennesoy in Norway
This small cabin has a south-facing facade which – combined with tall windows wrapped around the perimeter – flood the home with natural lighting such that no artificial help will be required except in the dead of winter (when nobody is likely to be around). Folding doors lift up to unite the inside with the natural surroundings, and finally, although we’re not 100% in love with the concrete back wall or fireplace, the interior oak panels and exterior fir give the minimalist cabin an extra rustic and sustainable lift.
